A thread replacement service for stripped threads.
This is a cost effective system, enabling most repairs to be carried out
in situ. The stripped thread is drilled out to oversize and a steel
threaded insert is installed bringing the thread back to original
size & type. This replacement thread is far superior to the original
thread in alloy & cast iron, making the repaired item reusable for many more years of service.

All OE electronic ignition distributors fitted in the Mini, have the cap
located by metric bolts, that have a tendency to suffer from stripped or
corroded threads in the distributor body.

We can now RECOIL® this thread, saving the high cost of distributor
replacement.

To replace both threads in situ(price includes resetting ignition timing) £23.00
